Our facility is not a grooming facility. However, we do offer baths for clients only.
We use a grooming or oatmeal shampoo, based on your preference, and we dry and lightly brush your pet after the bath.
Bathing your dog is important, but it is good for several reasons that we may not typically think of at first. Please consider the following if you’re contemplating how often you should be washing your dog:
Removes dirt and odors from their skin and coat –
This is usually the main reason that owners bathe their dogs when they visually see the dirt and can smell and odor on them that is very off-putting.
Healing inflamed or infected skin and damaged hair –
Usually, this is the case when you are using specialized shampoo, that you should discuss with your Veterinarian prior to using on your dog.
Health benefits for you and your family –
By ensuring that your pet’s coat and skin stays healthy, you are reducing the allergens that would otherwise be released into the air of your home.
Can become a pleasant experience –
For pets that enjoy a bath, it can be a delightful activity. Much like our daily showers, a bath can help your pet relax and relieve tension.
Transit Animal Hospital’s veterinary professionals strive to provide your pet with the very best of veterinary care. If your dog is in need of a bath, don’t hesitate to
